ANNOUNCING THE TOUR TO END ALL TOURS
I attended the 'Retreat From Racism,' an honors event at my college, UW-Milwaukee at Waukesha. An invigorating, enlighteneing experience, I was blessed with meeting the 2021 Wisconsin Poet Laureate Dasha Kelley Hamilton. From the moment she recited one her poems, I was inspired. Her delivery captivated me and her emotion struck something inside of me. I could do this. I could add an audial aspect to my work.

And thus, my tour was born.
